Lyle and Helen run a gr8 restaurant that has been serving home cooked food for 50 years. Their pizza is amongst the best in Winkler. Super clean restaurant and good value. Gr8 salad bar.
DJ’s is an all time favourite of ours. We decided to book them to cater our wedding and we have absolutely no regrets! The food was unbelievable (as always). They got everything out in a timely matter and it looked very presentable. We got tons of compliments from many wedding guests who said it was excellent! Helen and Lyle were also very kind and accommodating. Thank you DJ’s!!

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat before we set-up our Camper Photo Booth at NPC for an event. Very nice atmosphere! Super clean! We placed our order with a man (owner maybe) - he was so friendly and nice! We ordered their specialty burger fries and gravy and the smaller burger with onion rings! They both were very good! He came by our table and talked with us for a bit. We were so surprised when we received a free coffee and piece of cake. Apparently one of the staff was retiring and they had a party. What an amazing thing to do - Definitely would recommend anyone going by to stop in! They also had a little outdoor area you could eat at.
I grew up going to this place in the 70's. After moving away i had the opportunity to go again today. Did not disappoint. New owners, same great restaurant. We had the chicken burger and a regular hamburger. Both were good. The poutine was really good. Gravy excellent. The only thing i would change is that instead of shredded cheese i would use cheese curds, the way a poutine is suppose to be. But the place has a good vibe.
The pizza is superb!! Love the ham and pineapple!
